“The World of Adventures” channel on YouTube features an interesting, beautifully filmed thirteen-part video series, each episode of which explores a different monastery on Mount Athos. Filled with interviews and stunning visuals, this 2016 documentary has been translated from the original Russian into English. Iconography is a major focus throughout, along with the history, piety, theology, and daily life of the Holy Mountain. For your convenience, I have linked all thirteen episodes below. Each instalment varies in length between 25 minutes and more than two hours.
