Mary's Icons and Their Meaning
A reflection for May, "the month of Mary"
Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, is probably the most beloved woman in the world. Billions of the faithful carry a deeply felt love for her in their hearts. May is considered “Mary’s month” in the Catholic Church, so I thought it appropriate to share a few icons of her in this post.
