As an art historian, I’m intrigued and stimulated by all sorts of art, not only that in which I specialize. What a delight it is for me, then, to discover an artist who is both immensely talented and living nearby, who was previously hidden from my view! Guri Heggland Haslerud (b. 1946) came into my life like a ball of fire from heaven. Much light, vigor, and energy were gathered inside this good person.
